Payment, or any copay, is required at each session (or in advance), and can be made via check, Venmo, Paypal, or ACH (electronic transfer).
Additional charges include any written communications that I am requested to send to a third party by you, or on your behalf by a third party. My fee for this is $150 per hour, plus any mailing, shipping, or copying services.
Insurance Psychotherapy appointments may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to find out what your mental health benefits are. The following questions are suggested to ascertain your benefits when contacting your insurance company: 1. Do I have mental health benefits (sometimes referred to as behavioral health). 2. What is my co-pay per session. Or if your plan has a deductible, ask what that is and if it has been met. What is the coverage amount per session.
I currently accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Husky (Medicaid). For all other insurances, I can submit a claim for you as an out-of-network provider. If your insurance is out-of-network, you will be responsible for my regular billed amount at the time of your appointment. Any out-of-network reimbursement by your insurance company will be sent directly to you.
Cancellation Fee When you have scheduled an appointment with me, it means that the time is reserved just for you. If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged $100. Exceptions include a sudden illness or medical emergency for you or your child.
